Before contacting us, please review the following and have all the information on hand:

ORDERS / PAYMENT
All orders are taken on a first-come, first served basis. For payment we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, COD certified funds (money order or cashier's check) and bank wires. Personal checks are only accepted as a pre-payment option IF they are sent in advance and they must clear before the order is shipped. All orders are shipped after payment is received and verified.

Note: All demo/display, B-Stock, scratch-'n-dent and engineering sample unit sales are FINAL. These units come with a full warranty but DO NOT qualify for the 10-day evaluation program.

SHIPPING
Standard shipment method for all domestic orders* is via UPS Ground unless otherwise specified. FedEx Ground and UPS Ground are also available upon request. COD orders (certified funds) are accepted with an additional charge of $6 per box, which will be added to the invoice total. If faster delivery is desired, you can request 2-Day Air or Next Day Air delivery at additional cost.

*Domestic orders are considered to be all orders shipping to the contiguous 48 states. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico are not included. Normal shipping method to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico is Second Day Air, which is not included and is charged to your order. Next Day Air is available in some areas for an additional fee.

10-DAY EVALUATION PROGRAM
Butler Audio wants you to be satisfied with your purchase. We provide a 10-day evaluation program that allows you to personally audition your Butler Audio purchase. Your 10-day evaluation period begins on the date of delivery to your given shipping address. To qualify for this program, follow these easy steps:

  1. Purchase a NEW product (demo units, B-Stock, scratch-'n-dents and engineering samples do not qualify)

  2. Keep ALL original packing materials including BOTH boxes and all inserts. Products returned without these materials will be assessed a restocking charge of 15%

  3. All products must be returned in like-new condition. In addition to any applicable restocking fees, cosmetic or physical damage will be deducted from the original purchase price

  4. Return the original receipt, warranty card and owner's manual in their packages

  5. Shipping is paid by the purchaser

In order to accomplish this, we require all returns to have a Return Authorization number (RA#) issued by Butler Audio to accept returns. We cannot accept any items returned without an RA#. Units returned for service/repair must have an RA# clearly marked on the outside of the box. SERVICE / REPAIR / MAINTENANCE OF EARLIER TUBEDRIVER CAR AUDIO AMPLIFIERS

Before contacting Butler Audio regarding questions or service of previous versions of TubeDriver car audio products, please read the following important information:

Butler Audio has been designing, building and refining the TubeDriver car audio product line for ten years. There are three variations/versions of the previous TubeDriver car audio amplifiers.

The first two of the three versions were either built or designed by BK Butler/Butler Audio. BK Butler/Butler Audio did NOT design or manufacture the third version. It is an offshoot/variant designed and built by the original PPI company circa 1998-1999. We will NOT discuss service/repairs/maintenance unless you first determine which version amplifier you have. To identify which version of amplifier you have:

  • Version 1: Original Butler Audio TubeDriver (circa 1995-mid 1996)


  • Version 2: Phaze Audio/Butler Audio TubeDriver (circa late 1996-1997)


  • Version 3: Phaze Audio/PPI TubeDriver (circa 1998-1999)

Versions 1 and 2: Repair on the first two versions (Butler Audio, Phaze/Butler) is available; these are originally designed and/or built by BK Butler/Butler Audio, thus we typically have the parts and materials available to properly service them. Service/repairs/maintenance on these versions is estimated on a unit-by-unit basis. NO estimates will be given over the phone. Each unit must be returned to our service center for a quote to be provided. Once the unit is inspected, a quote will be provided and if accepted, must be paid for at the time of the quote. NO service will be performed before payment. All service/repair on these units is provided with a 90-day warranty.

Version 3: Phaze Audio/PPI TubeDriver units are a unique situation:
BE WARNED: IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON PURCHASING OR ALREADY HAVE ONE OF THE VERSION 3 UNITS (as described in #3 above), YOU MAY NEVER BE ABLE TO GET SERVICE/REPAIR.

Please understand that BK Butler/Butler Audio did not design and/or build these versions. Due to the lack of service manuals and/or parts availability, we are typically unable to service these units. However, Butler Audio will make every attempt to provide you whatever assistance we can on a "best efforts" basis. We cannot and WILL NOT guarantee these units can be serviced/repaired. Additionally, any service/repair provided for these units has a NO WARRANTY policy associated with it.

MISCELLANEOUS
All purchase orders, contracts, etc. must be approved in writing by BK Butler to be valid and legal.
